Implementation of Pimwave at Casaviva

case study

Casaviva

Casaviva is a leading brand in furniture and home decoration, with more than 65 years of history and nearly 30 stores across Spain and Andorra.

The company aimed to implement the Pimwave platform to automate, centralize, and expand the management of its products. Additionally, it required the capability to generate various types of reports tailored to different departments or target users.

With the expansion of the online sales channel and the strengthening of e-commerce, there is a clear need for a solution that enables the centralization of all product-related information. This includes structured information such as descriptions, attributes, characteristics, categorizations, etc., which originate from the SAP R/3 ERP system. There is also a need to manage unstructured information such as images, associated documents, etc., which are often sourced from various locations.

The application that centralizes product information is commonly referred to as PIM (Product Information Management). In this regard, Mediterranean Consulting has implemented the Pimwave solution at Casaviva to address comprehensive product management requirements.
