Ta-Tung

This company was established with the aim of serving the market for oriental cuisine gastronomic products. In 1983, it made a significant move to diversify its business by entering the pre-cooked dish manufacturing sector.

Needs

Ta-Tung currently operates a large-scale production facility that is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. The company maintains a continuous cold chain of operations and adheres to the highest standards of quality control.

Recognizing the company’s prominent position in the sector and its aspirations for national and international growth, the company’s management deemed it necessary to develop a new integrated management model. To achieve this, a comprehensive reorganization project was initiated.

Project description

The project was based on the development of a new management model that encompassed all areas of the company, including production, logistics, administration, and sales. Given the intricacies of the “just in time” production process, particular emphasis was placed on strategically designing the production-logistics processes and establishing an organizational structure aligned with the new management model.

Additionally, the project involved identifying needs specific to each area based on their respective processes. This allowed for the selection of an ERP management system that could effectively support the newly defined management model.

Results

After the completion of this project, the company established a business management model based on process organization. This has led to significant improvements in internal efficiency, as well as enhanced efficiency and traceability in all external relationship processes.

Furthermore, an integrated management system has been implemented to support and align with the newly established management model. This system ensures coherence between business objectives and the information system.
