Atlassian’s biggest European event, Team24, has come to an end. It has been intense days of working sessions, demos, round tables, trainings, certifications and above all personal reunions with many friends from Atlassian’s global ecosystem. Over three days, key developments have been presented focused on how Atlassian’s tools, especially powered by artificial intelligence, are transforming the future of teamwork and project management.

New AI capabilities that integrate contextual intelligence to streamline processes and tasks were introduced in products such as Jira and Confluence. The team24 was attended by experts from the international technology industry, including as always the presence of Atlassian co-founder Mike canion, and on this occasion was enlivened with a talk on leadership given by Arsene Werger, former general manager & coach of Arsenal FC and current Chief of Global football development of FiFA.

Here is a brief summary of some of the main developments Out of all the innovations presented at Team24, there is one that has outshone the rest and shone with its own light: Rovo.

Rovo is Atlassian’s new AI-based solution designed to optimise enterprise knowledge management and improve teamwork eaiciency. ROVO focuses on three main areas: search, learning and action.

Rovo Search: Enables information searches across the organisation, integrating data from Atlassian tools and third-party applications such as Google Drive, Slack, Figma, SharePoint and many other relevant technology vendors. This tool provides contextual and personalised results, helping to reduce the time needed to find critical information.

Rovo Chat: Chat functionality that facilitates interaction with other enterprise data sources. Users can ask questions and receive accurate answers based on organisational knowledge, improving understanding and workflow without the need to switch applications.

Rovo Agents: Customisable AI agents that can automate complex tasks such as reporting, workflow optimisation and more. Rovo oaers pre-configured agents and allows the creation of others through code-free configurations, adapting to the specific needs of each customer.

Other new features presented were as follows:
Jira Align: the strategic planning tool incorporating “Focus”, a new tool that allows managers to define and visualise strategic priorities and connect objectives with teams and resources.
Atlassian Intelligence: Advanced AI integration in several of its tools, such as Jira and Confluence. These functionalities make it possible to automate tasks, improve the search for information and assist in the writing of content, providing suggestions and completing texts more eaiciently.
Confluence enhancements: New AI features have been added to improve the document creation and organisation experience. Confluence can now suggest links and relevant content based on the context of the document, as well as provide automatic summaries.
Improvements in Jira Service Management: Enhancements have been implemented to facilitate integration with other IT management systems and strengthen its cloud functionality. Includes new tools to optimise customer service and accelerate ticket resolution through AI.
Atlas and Compass: These team management and software architecture solutions were updated to improve visibility and collaboration between teams, especially in agile and DevOps environments.

In conclusion, I have several thoughts to share with you.
The first is that Atlassian remains at the forefront of technology and is constantly reinventing itself to anticipate the needs of its customers.
The incorporation of AI in a transversal way in all Atlassian products, will increase the performance of the teams and also changes our way of working, the strategic concept System of Work, created by Atlassian.

On the other hand, the Atlassian partner ecosystem is more alive than ever, providing customised solutions for the specific requirements of companies. In short, as Atlassian’s current slogan “impossible alone” indicates, the strength is in the union of an ecosystem formed by the manufacturer, partners, developers and community, which in a cohesive way row towards the same goal.
