Trilogi (TLG) reaches a collaboration agreement with Mediterranean Consulting

Trilogi (TLG Commerce) is an agency specializing in the design, development, and promotion of online stores. Founded in Barcelona in 1999, it has opened offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, where it has been operating since 2010. The signing of a collaboration agreement between Mediterranean Consulting and Trilogi (TLG Commerce) will speed up the generation of content in online stores through a PIM (Product Information Management) system that will link the companies’ ERP with their e-commerce platforms.

The Lacoste case

The first time that LogiCommerce, the Trilogi (TLG) solution, and Mediterranean Consulting’s PIM were integrated was with the development of the Lacoste Spain store. The success of this experience allowed Lacoste to have a centralized environment with complete information about their products: descriptions, attributes, images, etc., enabling lacoste.es to provide a wide range of information about each model automatically.

The companies’ managers have signed off on the work done with a collaboration agreement that could benefit other companies requiring this solution.

What does a PIM do?

A key factor for the retail sector, immersed in the commercial transformation of its products, is to have all the information centralized to facilitate the integration of the digital sales channel. The PIM solution serves as the link between the ERP and the e-commerce platform. On the one hand, it collects structured information, such as descriptions, attributes, characteristics, and categorizations, from the ERP. On the other hand, it gathers unstructured information, such as images and associated documents, which are often collected from different sources.

Pimwave

The PIM developed by Mediterranean has a high level of flexibility and adaptability, and those responsible for the solution are aware that “each company needs to have a PIM adapted to the specific needs of its daily operations.”
