Conducting a municipal organizational diagnosis

CASE STUDY

Blanes City Council

Administrations have transitioned from being mere regulators of basic services, such as licenses and permits, to becoming service providers, as the demand from citizens for services has increased over time.

This reality in our country has sparked internal debates on how to manage this transition, moving from an outdated model to an innovative one where effectiveness and efficiency in management are the core principles guiding government actions.

The growing need for internal information management and the implementation of new legal regulations, such as the RSAL, administrative simplification, electronic administration, and transparency, necessitate a review of current processes, procedures, and the technological ecosystem supporting them. The objective is to significantly enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the municipal management model and to advance the modernization process of the local administration in Blanes.

The objective

Through this organizational and technological diagnosis, the Blanes City Council aims to seize a competitive opportunity to optimize the use of resources and propose a future model that meets the short and medium-term needs of the municipality of Blanes.
