Dendalia

Dendalia is a team of technology enthusiasts who believe that technology is the key to simplifying our lives in a fast-paced world. Their insatiable curiosity keeps them constantly aware of new trends and evolving needs in electronics and IT. It was their unwavering passion that led them to turn their hobby into a profession, and thus, Dendalia was born in 2004.

With the growth of the retail industry and the increasing prominence of e-commerce, the need for a solution that centralizes all product-related information has become evident. This includes structured information such as descriptions, attributes, characteristics, categorizations, etc., which originate from the ERP system, as well as unstructured information such as images, associated documents, etc., which are often sourced from various locations.

The application that enables the centralization of product information is commonly referred to as a PIM (Product Information Management). In response to this set of product management needs, Mediterranean Consulting has implemented the Pimwave solution at Dendalia.

Description of the main functionalities

The main functionalities implemented in this project are as follows:

  • Integration through API middleware for data input and output, including products, categories, attributes, prices, and stock.
  • Multi-language support for Spanish, English, Italian, German, French, and Portuguese.
  • Automatic synchronizations with results for both imports and exports.
  • Category and attribute management in Pimwave.
  • Advanced product management.
  • Implementation of a product validation workflow.
  • Warranty management.

Results

Since the implementation of the entire system, Dendalia has a PIM platform fully adapted to its operational needs, integrated with the ERP, e-commerce, and multiple marketplaces with which the company works. The automation of the input and output processes through the Pimwave API, as well as having all the product information centralized, has allowed Dendalia to efficiently manage the entire online sales process and has provided the opportunity for growth.
